Gargano has important cooking traditions based on genuine local products.

Olive oil is the most important product in Gargano cookery to simply taste or to flavour bread and many recipes, but also pasta (“orecchiette”), tomatoes, cheese (“Caciocavallo”), citrus are some of the main product of the local gastronomy.

Our chefs realize delicious recipes using also fish, vegetables (oregano, garlic, onion, pulses, rocket, parsley) and meat, especially goat, lamb and game, particularly appreciated in the area.

You can taste all these specialties in the restaurant of the village La Canzone del Mare, where we also want to satisfy children through a simple cooking.
